Making this mainly for myself/to share with my friends who are curious abt the system thus far, none of this will mean anything to anyone who doesn't interact with me and I'm fine w/ that. This is all info we're fine having "public" on our niche-ass neocities website, the private stuff is for our journals.
At any given time multiple of us are cofronting/blending, "hosts" are those that are pretty much always/most often fronting and are usually the main connecting threads of our memories. Don't worry about differentiating them from the outside, we're still working on recognizing whose active and when. We conceptualize it a lot like the emotions in Inside Out at the control table, but not everyone is always there "watching" whats going on or participating. The divisions are not super strict, which is where "blending" of those fronting comes in, they're all present and me.
If the icon artist link is empty, then its my own art I'm using for the icon or official art, otherwise I've directly linked the source.
For this page I'll just clarify my selection of terminology
Resonant = Fictives, introjects of fictional and some of my original characters. They're still me/not "literally" these characters (my personal hc-version-bordering-oc living in my head rent free, essentially, they're fictionkin)
Charge = Usually younger members, need more support and care/caretaking within the system. Can be considered "inner child" facets.
Gatekeeper = An alter known to keep traumatised alters from taking control. They may engage in either grounding techniques (constructive) or substitute beliefs (maladaptive) to prevent this. This makes them a protector to a degree.
Holder = They have/"hold" specific memories, preferences, feelings, traumas, compartmentalized things, tasks, etc.
