Making this mainly for myself/to share with my friends who are curious abt the system thus far, none of this will mean anything to anyone who doesn't interact with me and I'm fine w/ that.

We aren't bothered by specific gendered terms for the body aside from she/her pronouns, we don't mentally associate physical features = gender and are very nonbinary so honestly feel free to switch it up. There are very few things we still feel genuinely gender dysphoric about, and if you know us we've told you,

At any given time multiple of us are cofronting/blending, "hosts" are those that are pretty much always/most often fronting and are usually the main connecting threads of our memories. Don't worry about differentiating them from the outside, we're still working on recognizing whose active and when. We conceptualize it a lot like the emotions in Inside Out at the control table, but not everyone is always there "watching" whats going on or participating. Individual alters can experience amnesia when fronting for the first time in a while which will also throw off everyone else fronting, short term memory stuff gets easily jumbled with the individual switches that we can't always keep track of easily. The divisions are not super strict, which is where "blending" of those fronting comes in, they're all present and me.

Terminology 👇

For the sake of this page I'll clarify my specific use of terminology

  • Resonant = Fictives, introjects of fictional and some of my original characters. They're still me/not "literally" these characters (my personal hc-version-bordering-oc living in my head rent free, essentially, they're fictionkin, if they use the term fictive that means they feel more strongly connected to their source as an identity anchor)
  • Charge = Usually younger members which need more support and care/caretaking within the system. Can be considered "inner child" facets, or containing them, though they can be adults.
  • Gatekeeper = Alters who can directly influence who is fronting to a degree more than others, which is not always purposeful. Additionally alters known to use this influence to keep traumatised alters from taking control. They may engage in either grounding techniques (constructive) or substitute beliefs (maladaptive) to prevent this. This makes them a protector to a degree.
  • Holder = They have/"hold" specific memories, preferences, feelings, traumas, compartmentalized things, tasks, etc.


Bubbles | she/fae/they | syskid
The youngest core/"original" (former) host, never liked the bodies birthname, latched onto Bubbles as an identity and was the OG in using fiction as escapism. Youngest "inner child" aspect, she doesn't front alone and is more sensitive, they're usually being looked after to some degree because fae hates being alone (due to neglect).

One of the earliest "cores", close to Bubbles. Intensely shy and fairly naive, fae doesn't like fronting and needs a lot of support when she does. They're scattered and especially prone to panic attacks in general, which she only realized recently. Usually we figure out they fronted after the fact.
